Welcome to MetalScan AI. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the MetalScan AI website, mobile application and services. By accessing or using MetalScan AI, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Service
MetalScan AI uses artificial intelligence to assist users in identifying metal types, estimating purity, grading materials, providing indicative market values and generating reports.
The service is provided as an information and productivity tool only.
2. AI Disclaimer
Artificial intelligence is not perfect.
MetalScan AI provides estimates based on image analysis and available data.
Results including metal identification, purity, grade, confidence score and estimated value are indicative only.
Users must independently verify all results before buying, selling or relying on any information for commercial decisions.
MetalScan AI accepts no responsibility for losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated outputs.
3. User Accounts
Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining password security
- Keeping account information accurate
- All activity occurring under their account
4. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- Upload illegal material
- Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform
- Copy or reverse engineer the software
- Upload malicious software
- Use MetalScan AI for unlawful purposes

- Dedicated support
Subscription fees are billed in advance and automatically renew unless cancelled.
6. Payments
Payments are securely processed by Paddle or authorised payment providers.
MetalScan AI does not store payment card details.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, logos, AI models, images, content and code remain the exclusive property of MetalScan AI.
No content may be copied or reproduced without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetalScan AI is not liable for:
- Incorrect AI identification
- Pricing inaccuracies
- Loss of profits
- Business interruption
- Indirect or consequential damages
Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user during the previous 12 months.
9. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Maintenance and outages may occur.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of MetalScan AI constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
